Welcome to the Orlando Pirates Dream Teams & SuperPredictor
Orlando Pirates and Super Dream Teams now offer you the choice of two PSL fantasy games in one site. You can choose to manage your own Dream Team over the course of the season or predict the score each week in SuperPredictor - or you can play BOTH!

Access to either game is achieved by using just one login. However it’s up to you whether you play both or just your preferred format. Prizes, as always, are available for both competitions and of course a different set of rules apply to either game format. Please read below for a full summary of both games and how they work.

Orlando Pirates SuperPredictor
The Orlando Pirates SuperPredictor is a predict the score game that allows you to pick the score for each upcoming match in the PSL fixture list. Earn points for accurately predicting the correct score of each match in each Round. Click here to jump to the SuperPredictor Game Rules.

Orlando Pirates Dream Teams
Manage your own virtual team in the Orlando Pirates Dream Teams. Select your Dream Team of 11 players and score points based on the real life match performance of the players in your team.

Help Menu

All team management decisions such as player transfers and choosing your captain occur under the Manage My Team tab. You can select your team by following our simple on-screen instructions. Alternatively, you can use the handy Autocomplete function to help pick your team, which can then be freely modified right up until the round starts.

Team Selections

The following rules apply to team selection:

You will need to select your team in the standard 4-4-2 configuration as shown.

You can select a maximum of 7 players from any one PSL club throughout the season.

You must select a full team of 11 players and your captain before you can save your team.

Your Captain can be any player in your team and he will score double points.

Players can only be selected in their designated position i.e. you cannot pick a Striker to play as a Defender.

Scoring Points

Your Dream Team is awarded points based on the actual performance of the players in your team during each match. Scores are updated at the end of each Round.

The selected players in your team score points as follows:

Note:
A goal assist is awarded to the player who makes the last pass to the actual goal scorer. Assists may also be awarded for a player substantially contributing to the goal. (For example, a player makes a run and shoots at goal, goalie blocks but the ball bounces out to another player who then scores the goal. The first player who originally shot at goal may be awarded an assist). Assists are awarded based on data feeds and the judges decision. The judges decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

Player Transfers

Player transfers occur on the Manage My Team page. You can make unlimited transfers before the season starts. You are then restricted to a maximum of 4 transfers per Round with a total limit of 60 transfers for the tournament. Changing your captain within your existing team does not count as one of your available transfers.

Note:
The Manage My Team page is temporarily unavailable while a Round is in progress. It will only open at the end of a Round once the scores have been updated. You can then make changes to your team for the next Round. The Transfer Window will remain open up until the start of the next Round. A countdown clock indicates the time remaining until Lockout. Be sure to choose carefully before saving your team as all changes are final and cannot be reversed.

Making Predictions

In SuperPredictor you earn points based on the accuracy of your predictions for each PSL match in each Round.

Use the drop-down menus to make your predictions, then click on the 'Save My Predictions' button.

You can make your predictions for all upcoming PSL matches in one go, however we recommend you play the game week-by-week as form can change quickly in this competition.

Scoring Points

Earn points in SuperPredictor by accurately predicting the result of each match in the Round.

Points are awarded according to the following:

1. For predicting the correct match result (e.g. win, draw) = 20 pts
2. For correctly predicting the exact score for each team = 10 pts

Final score margin points
Awarded for accuracy in relation to a team's final score. The closer you are to the final score, the more points you earn. I

Example
You predict Orlando Pirates to beat Ajax Cape Town by 2 goals to 1. Actual result is 2-0 to Pirates. You earn 20 points for the correct result i.e. Pirates win. Score 10 points for correctly predicting the exact number of Pirates goals and score 5 points for being 1 goal off the final Ajax score. Therefore, total points scored for this prediction would have been 35 points.

Leagues - Both Games

Playing in a league allows you to monitor your performance against everybody else participating in the game. There are two types of public leagues known as the Global League and Round League which are available for both Dream Teams and SuperPredictor. You can also set up one or many Private Leagues in either game format where you challenge your friends and family to play against you. Here’s how it works:

Global Fantasy League
All Dream Team managers are automatically registered in this league which displays the Top 500 players in the competition.

Fantasy Round League
Displays the Top 500 Dream Team managers from the current round and allows you to monitor your round by round performance.

Global Predictor League
All SuperPredictor players are automatically registered in this league which displays the Top 500 players in the competition.

Predictor Round League
Displays the Top 500 SuperPredictor players from the current round and allows you to monitor your round by round performance.

Private Leagues
You can create your own Private League in both SuperPredictor and Dream Teams. The option to set up or join a Private League can be accessed from the My Leagues page once you have logged in. You can choose to send an automatic email to your friends by entering their email addresses online, or alternatively you can forward your Private League code to them. You can also upload your own logo for your league. An additional feature in the Leagues area is a message board which you can use to communicate with other team managers in your League by posting comments. The League Administrator has the functionality to delete uninvited teams or inappropriate comments.
